ABOUT

Carol Freitas Ferrari.jpg

At 11 years of age, I was already a competitive sailor. In the year 2000, I started competing in the kiteboarding class. I have always been an example of hard work and competitiveness as my father was a World Champion of Diving.

So the results showed up: In the first year in the competition, I made the podium. Already in the second year in the sport, I was the champion and felt my father encouraging me from the sky and in the water.

So to make a long story short, I was 13 times Brazilian champion and the only one competitor in Brazil (male or female) to be crowned Brazilian Champion in all the modalities of the sport: freestyle; wave riding and race. In the international field, I was 2 times South American Champion and was one the first female to compete proficiently in the class.

With the support of all my sponsors and the creation of the National Brazilian Team, I always qualified for being one of the two women to represent the country in international waters. Therefore I was able to compete in many world championships with very honorable results as, Hang Time World Champion in the year 2007, among others.
